DESCRIPTION
The Boeing 737 is a narrow-body aircraft produced by Boeing Commercial Airplanes at its Renton Factory in Washington. Developed to supplement the 727 on short and thin routes, the twinjet retains the 707 fuselage cross-section and nose with two underwing turbofans. The 737-600 was launched by SAS in March 1995 with the first aircraft delivered in September 1998. A total of 69 have been produced with the last aircraft delivered to WestJet in 2006. Boeing displayed the 737-600 in its price list until August 2012. The smallest model offered was then the 737-700. The 737-600 replaces the 737-500 and is similar to the Airbus A318.
